We’re proud of our status as an employee-owned company and this year we took part in the annual Employee Ownership Day to celebrate.

Employee Ownership Day is a nation-wide celebration of employee ownership that is held each summer. We mark the day every year and this year we decided to close our office early to hold our own event to celebrate nine years of successful employee ownership. As well as treating everyone to a delicious buffet lunch, colleagues had the chance to win prizes in raffle competitions, test their knowledge in the tricky Stewart-Buchanan Gauges quiz and compete in Pressure Panic, our specially designed arcade game. The event was great fun and gave us the opportunity to mingle and spend time together without the normal pressure of work.

Employee ownership has delivered tremendous benefits to Stewart-Buchanan Gauges. We believe being co-owned has contributed to our success in recent years, with colleagues feeling more committed to the company and dedicated to manufacturing products of the highest quality to meet or even exceed the needs of our customers. This has helped us to achieve sustained growth in the last nine years and continue to develop our range of market-leading gauge and valve products.

We’ve developed a range of easy-to-apply adhesive safety labels for use on pressure gauges and dial thermometers. The labels make it easy to see if the readings from your instruments are within tolerance, helping to improve operational safety and efficiency.

Applied onto the outside window of the instrument, they can be retro-fitted onto existing equipment making them a cost-effective and quick alternative to replacing gauges or thermometers. Easy to apply and cut where required, you can create your own scale ranges using red and green circular arcs for the instrument size. The labels are also transparent to make sure you can get an accurate reading of the values below.

Each pack contains an equal number of red and green labels. Choose from label sets for use on 63mm diameter, 100mm diameter and 150mm diameter pressure gauges and dial thermometers:

MODELS-63RGAL – for instrument size 63mm (2½inch). Pack of 12 red and 12 green labels.
MODELS-100RGAL – for instrument size 100mm (4 inch). Pack of 6 red and 6 green labels.
MODELS-150RGAL – for instrument size 150mm (6 inch). Pack of 3 red and 3 green labels.

Using high-quality adhesive material, our labels are temperature- and UV-resistant as well as resistant to most petroleum-based oils, greases and aliphatic solvents, mild acids, alkaline and salts. They are therefore suitable for use in most environments. Stable for the long term, the estimated use life of each label if it is correctly applied is roughly three to five years.
